Families And Accessibility

Located in the historic grounds of beautiful Barnsdall Art Park. At LAMAG, families can explore the most significant contemporary art from Los Angeles and the region in a beautiful park setting. Please acquaint yourself with our visitor and park policies prior to visiting (link).

Learn Contemporary art asks us to keep an open mind, bring our critical thinking skills, and use our imagination to understand and enjoy the ideas, insights, and experiences that artists can bring us. Please read the introduction to our Gallery Education packet here. When arriving at the gallery, be sure to ask one of our gallery attendants for a complete Gallery Education packet which includes key concepts, and activities families can engage in at the art gallery and beyond.
