Abigail Raphael Collins’ ongoing experimental documentary Out of Play looks at the relationship between the entertainment industry and U.S. military. Each episode focuses on one person placed at the intersection between “image making and war making”, which includes an actor interpreting transcripts provided by the head of redactions for the US Army, among others.
In this performance, actors will do a live reading and interpretation of redacted transcripts and explore the ways in which Hollywood makes or constructs fiction in the absence of information.
